The firm's roots go back to Legal Advice Office No. 94 of the Inter-republican Bar, established in 1991 by order of the USSR Ministry of Justice to assist businesses and represent them in commercial disputes. A reorganisation followed in 2003 after the adoption of the Federal Law on Advocacy and the Bar. The present firm was established in 2012, as described in its history below.

History
Yukov and Partners was founded in 2012 by Andrey Yukov and Alexander Ivanov.
Andrey Yukov has practised as an attorney since 1996, working at Inyurkollegiya and the Inter-republican Bar. In 2003, he and several partners established Yukov, Khrenov and Partners under the Federal Law on Advocacy and the Bar in the Russian Federation.
Alexander Ivanov became director of RUSAL's legal department in 2002. In 2008 he joined Liniya Prava as a partner and head of litigation, and in 2009 he joined Yukov, Khrenov and Partners.
When Andrey Yukov decided to leave the firm in 2012, 26 colleagues joined his new team, established in partnership with Alexander Ivanov.

Accreditations
Yukov and Partners is accredited by the state corporation Deposit Insurance Agency (DIA). The firm was selected in the Legal Advisers category, enabling it to enter into cooperation agreements with the agency for services in the liquidation of credit institutions.
Under Order No. 3079 of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation, the firm was accredited as an independent expert authorised to conduct anti-corruption reviews of legislation and draft legislation in the cases provided for by Russian law.
Yukov and Partners also obtained accreditation with Sberbank in Administrative and Judicial Proceedings, covering the following services:
